Without further ado: This, is my Studio Fix Powder Plus story. (Not to be confused with my E! True Hollywood Story, which will never come into existence.) I wrote a post titled “My love/hate relationship with MAC Studio Fix Powder Foundation” explaining the matter way back in 2012. In it I essentially lamented the lack of a shade in between.

Greetings All-
So I wanted to start a thread where we post a photo of ourselves and list which MAC foundation formulation you use along with shade. When I first started wearing MAC I was first matched to NW 40 ( waaay too light). Then I got matched to NW 45. I loved it once applied but over time it would oxidize and become several shades darker than my complexion. I thought I finally reached a happy medium with NW 43. I'm finding that once again the foundation has a tendency to oxidize and now looks like red clay a la Fashion Fair . I absolutely love the powder/foundation in 1 formulation that studio fix gives. I'm also a sucker for a matte finish. I think my issue is that my face is actually a mixture of 2 diff undertones I tend to have yellowish undertones on my cheeks and reddish undertones everywhere else. I just want my face to blend in with my neck lol sometimes I feel that it is obvious that my face is a shade darker than my neck weird anyways here goes. I may consider purchasing NC 50 or 55 and mixing that with my NW43. Suggestions greatly appreciated. I'm hoping I will find my foundation twin!
